Production capacity for your needs

Today, Plastex has 15 extruders in production and two especially allocated to development and improvement work. Production takes place in large, bright facilities with a workshop of 1800 sq. m., a warehouse of 1100 sq. m. and an office of 400 sq. m. Moreover, our capacity lies in the hands and minds of our experienced personnel. In the ability to see solutions, to dare to think differently and translate ideas into smart and cost-effective production.

Integrated environmental work

Since we solely work with thermoplastics, the working environment is good. No unpleasant gases or smells arise in our process and our environment is characterised by order, which we are proud of! We have improved the efficiency of our energy use and choose environmentally adapted material where possible and source sort waste. We try to minimise waste in the production process by milling excess plastic and reusing it in production. Another environmental improvement measure is the closed water system allowing us to use surplus heat formed in manufacturing to save energy. We view this environmental work as an important, natural and integrated part of our operations.

Besides the production facilities and heated warehouse, we have invested in cold space of 750 sq. m. This has made it possible to handle of all products under a roof. The forwarders can drive into our cold space for loading and unloading without risking the goods being exposed to the forces of nature. Quality the whole way – that is important to us!
