We are now looking for an accounting economist based in Skellefteå. As an accounting economist with us, you have overall responsibility for accounting within all companies in the group.

About the job
You handle invoices and supplier ledgers, manage ongoing accounting, bookkeeping and take care of VAT returns. Your duties also include simpler monthly accounts and monthly reporting as well as monthly reconciliations of the profit and loss account and balance sheet.

Job duties

• Current accounting and monthly accounts for all the group’s companies
• Have knowledge of the company’s daily finances
• Reconciliations and investigations
• Tax and VAT returns
• Payment of company taxes and VAT
• Manage the payment flow in the group
• Statistics and other reporting (e.g. Collectum, Fora and Svenskt Näringsliv)
• Be helpful with budget and forecasting
• Develop the group’s administrative processes for efficient and correct handling of our transactions
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and work with streamlining and digitizing processes.
• Smaller purchases (e.g. office supplies)
• Other administrative tasks
• Exchange telephony/ reception

We are looking for you as

• Has work experience as an accounting economist or similar
• Can prepare monthly accounts independently and has participated in annual accounts.
• Has good knowledge of Excel
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Training

• At least upper secondary education in economics

Meritorious

• Post-secondary education two years or longer in business administration, trade and administration
• Payroll administration/ payroll processing
• Experience of working in Monitor G5
