The Plastex Group has acquired 100% of the shares in GFH AB, which manufactures and sells edge bands/sealing strips, primarily for conveyor belts, in the food, concrete, mining and recycling industries, among others.

GFH AB has been successfully run for many years by Jörgen and Carina Glantz, who, with their commitment and expertise, have built a company that is known for fast deliveries and high quality of its products.

Plastex will continue with the same product range with an ambition to broaden both its product and customer portfolio.

“GFH is a very well-run company with high quality in both products and delivery precision. The products fit perfectly with us and we are convinced that we can further develop business in this segment with our network of contacts. “We will do our utmost to maintain the same high level of service and quality that Jörgen and Carina have done for many years,” says Plastex CEO David Burén.

Manufacturing will be moved into Plastex’s existing factory in Skellefteå and production will begin immediately after the turn of the year.

Jörgen and Carina Glantz comment on the acquisition:

“We are proud of what we have built with GFH AB and feel confident that Plastex will continue to develop and strengthen our business. We look forward to seeing the company grow further under Plastex’s leadership.”
